An Update from Joe

I'm Joe Baby, my foster mom lets me have full run of the house, even her bed. I like my crate. I sometimes sit on top of my foster sister's crate and just watch the birds and wildlife in the yard, I chase them too, they are pretty fast. I enjoy walks and playing ball, baths are ok. Foster mom says I look like I have a hat on my head. I play well with my foster sisters, but cats are not an option. Foster mommy says that I'm "the sweetest of the sweet, a very gentle soul"---and I guess if she says it, it must be true.
Here I'm snuggling up to my foster sister Zoey.

HAPPY THOUGHTS.......Life is so good. My foster mom takes really good care of me, she not only puts a coat on me when I go outside, when I come in she has heated my bed for me.

The weather outside is frightening...

Perfect timing for my new coat...It really started to snow.

Kitties are cool!

I like to play with them! But foster mommy thinks I'm a bit too much for the kitties---so my forever family should rather be a home without felines!

Little Joe is settling in nicely at his new foster home!

He's already on cuddling terms with fur sister Lucy---now the only thing missing is a nice forever home! Won't to consider little Joe?

Silly....ME???

He is a silly laddie- and very playful.
He LOVES the kiddie pool and playing with his new pointer foster brothers. He will make a wonderful addition to any family.
Nobody around to play? No problem---Joe will entertain himself with a ball.

Just in the nick of time...

Joe is a Liver and White older American Field Bred English Pointer- maybe 8 years old. He found his way into a southern IL shelter where he only had days to live before we found him a rescue.
He has had a rough life and came in with some terrible road rash and a broken tail. He is also HW+ and will be treated the week of July 16th- so he'll be ready for adoption the end of August.
